    Yep, that relatively small area (on the left, as you pull in to the 4x4 area) with many of the man-made obstacles : 'pyramid', mini-rubicon, 'pipes', frame-twister, mud pit, gravel climb, etc. Its reserved for a special event, according to the SVRA web-site.

    Still plenty of areas to play on, from mild to extreme.
    I was there last Saturday, lots of people there for the 'no fee' day.

    A 100 foot section of the high-speed track was under water, for those who like to blast thru muddy water (and possibly ruin the alternator :D ). There is also a another shorter 'mini-rubicon' section inside the track area, that is hard to see, unless you are next to it.
