Hey MD guy here. thinking about hitting Red Cloud some weekend soon, anybody been over there? Thoughts?

 

Dang, I should probably log on here on the weekends...missed the meet up.

 

Not all of us have premium ice-climbing gear.

 

Did you get your dome lights installed? Those can be a pain to remove because of those lame metal neck covers.

 

I've been there a few times. I wasn't able to do MOST of the park since I don't have a lift/bigger tires yet, but I enjoyed what I was able to do. A bit pricey though.

just ordered my tires, can anyone recommend a shop to mount and balance? Also looking at swapping my TPMS sensors from my steel wheels to my aftermarket wheels.

 

I might be getting some steelies soon so I'm interested in good shops as well.

 

Still waiting on my tax return, but I'm eyeing either the Icon Stage III or Stage IV suspension kit. If I do go that route I am probably not going to use the Icon 1.5" AAL leafs that come with either kit (in favor of OME Dakar packs). Would anyone in this area be interested in purchasing the Icon AALs for a good price?

 

yup, got the map and dome lights installed in the parking lot at the meet on tuesday, and the reverse and tag lights done yesterday. I had more trouble with the map lights than the dome light, but that was only because I put them in backwards at first so they didnt work the dome light popped out really easily though..

Might want to talk to the vendor who you are buying the kit from about the leafs since you aren't using them. Might be able to get the 2.5" on all 4 corners for the same price as the kit with the leafs. Just a thought is all. It is better to have, than to not in this case with the upgraded rear end. More expensive to have to upgrade AGAIN in the future, than to get it done now at a discount.

Id be interested. I just need the rear leaf pack to finish my kit. Currently looking at the toytec 1.5-2 aal.
