I used to live in cartersville. They've been having car show there forever it seems but I don't remember a truck show.
It's 7 hours from Memphis though so don't care.

 

That would be awesome.I keep getting conflicting answers on how long an install like that takes. What was your experience?

 

I'd give yourself 5 hours. You can do it pretty easy in 3 by yourself. Easy under 2 with help

 

We ran into some complications and had to run to the hardware store in the midst of it and I think it took me and a buddy right at 3 hours.

 

The Damn rear end is what took me the longest... I think it took me something like 2 hours because the bolts didn't want to come out

 

Same thing happened to me on my last Tacoma. Had to grind and punch it out.

 

We got mine out no problem, we just didn't have a long enough bolt because Gid didn't give me the extended bolt with the AAL. lol. So I have a Grade 8 bolt in there and had to drill out a little bit of the inside of the factory bump stop.

 

I just said screw it and torched all mine out haha

 

I lost them. Sorry. Haha

 

I'm not upset! haha. we made it work and I got a free AAL.

 

So serious question, All pro expo leafs or OME dakar?

 

Hey man, I'm in cookeville too but I've got my jeep this week. Probably be in my truck again next week.

Not many shops around here. Might try the bedliner shop on the left as you're heading to allgood. Other than that, discount tire if there is one close.

 

So these came in the mail today. Get the rest tomorrow.

 

How much weight you carry in the bed

 

I have a full toolbox, plus the allpro wrap around bumper, a hitch, and I'm 90% sure that I'll have a pontoon this summer that I'll be hauling around a lot.

 

This is on stock non tsb leaves and wheeler's hd aal. Just sayin

 

I have the stock 3 plus overload with a 1.5 inch single aal from Gid and towed a jeep on a steel car hauler, I'm just looking to get a full leaf pack that'll ride better but I'll still be able to tow with.

 

The expo will have a unloaded lift of 4"
The dakars will have right around 3"

If you haul a lot then I'd suggest expo. If you haul maybe 3 times a month I'd get dakars

 

I haul a lot when I'm home so I guess expo it'll be. I gotta get a receiver hitch for my bumper from all-pro anyways so I guess I'll be ordering that too.

 

If you aren't carrying at least #500 of stuff on an everyday basis then the expo pack will ride stiff as shit. The pack is made to carry weight
