    UPDATE!!
Ok so he filed a chargeback with his credit card company.
He is saying "HE DID NOT AUTHORIZE THE PAYMENT"
If he didnt authorize it, why would he want tracking information?

Send proof of everything to his financial institution. All convos, EVERYTHING. Even the PayPal invoice or stub if you have it.

You should really pursue looking to find that MAC address. Getting it off of your home router would probably be your best bet. If you could find a way to catch it connecting at his location, he'd be screwed.

Also, I'm not sure how this would work since you're in Canada, but I know that if something like this happened to me, I had sufficient evidence to support my case, and PayPal still shafted me, then I would take the scammer to small claims court and he would have to appear at a courthouse in my county. If that doesn't rattle some scumbags cage enough to give in, he'd HAVE to be telling the truth.

Thats starting to get a bit over the edge. Even if it was just a couple hundred bucks it wouldnt be the end of the world, But this is some serious cash... well to me anyways haha.

You dont have to worry about that. I work for the bank and take these "fraud" calls ALLLLL day every day. There is a very distinct difference between "dispute" and "fraud".

Fraud is a charge made to a merchant (paypal in this case) that the person has never done business with before and never provided his card number to. No exceptions. This is 100% NOT fraud and the bank will quickly and easily determine that in the investigation and deny his claim.

If he is "disputing" the transaction as a claim for products/services not recieved as promised, then that gets tricky. If payment went straight from him to you then he might win, but the money went through a verified vendor (paypal again) and so the actual authorization is legitimate from paypal. He cant dispute your item, because you didnt charge him. He can only dispute paypal, but paypal delivered the service as promised.

    Follow me on that?

So with those rules in place, the claim will be denied. ALthough an investigation will occur, and the bank does their best to side with the customer, in this case he will not win, ESPECIALLY if he filed as "fruad" or "did not authorize the transaction" as you stated.

so then the chargeback is coming from Visa or from Paypal. If you call the bank to dispute the card issuer like VISA or MC actually do the dispute, not the bank. So if visa is charging back paypal and paypal is charging back you then this is started from the bank. But the chargeback shouldnt appear that fast. So far it doesnt look good then if the chargback has posted.

    whats the full name?

The thing i dont understand is , he was bitching in the first place about no computer being in there, NOW hes saying that he didnt do the transaction. BUT why would someone buy a computer on someone elses credit card and have it shipped to the credit card holders address? that seems fishy to me!
