Houston area (along with DB's not from Houston) BS thread

If worst comes to worst and I get stuck in a basin somewhere doing research or doing long stints in the boonies at an exploratory borehole I will buy myself a big truck like posted above so when I come back I can DB it up in short order before leaving again.


And a fast car so I can do elevenses all over the place lol.

 

I'm supposed to be getting a call back tomorrow morning for a chance to join a company doing shutdowns and stuff

Getting closer and closer to that life!

 

But you'll never be about that rancher lyfe.

 

Fuck no, the rancher life isn't for me...

A shop house or barndonium in the city is where I'd rather be...

With a house on the beach that I can flee...

True story. This place sucks. Every job I'm applying for is in Houston to try and escape this hell hole lol

 

Well unfortunately I'm probably going to work in the boonies, might even have to live there for a while. But I will always have a home base and that is here (at least for the next decade or so).

 

This weather makes my halfdoors very unhappy....

When does Trinidad have new years?

 

At the same time as the rest of the Christian world lol.

But my aunty who is a Trini Chinese celebrates both Chinese New Year and the regular New Year.

Yea I have a Chinese aunty, it's really my moms close friend and she has known me since I was a baby. Her mom used to babysit me from time to time. The old lady sat me down with some chinese sausage in a bowl and chopsticks when I was five...I couldn't eat it, so I stabbed the sausage with the chopstick and she slapped my hand and said no lol.

 

Is she here in the states?

 

Think i watched that Anthony guy or the fat guy on the travel channel go to Trinidad. Looks like y'all have some awesome food!!

There is a restaurant in Pearland if you ever want to try some. It's called D'Curry Spot, the owner is Mo and he's pretty cool. I think you might like a street food called Doubles.

 

That's right fellas. 16" of carnivore pizza from Dan's and a Texas Mikey of Canadian Club Whiskey. Single life either is exceptional or it sucks lol

It exceptionally sucks

Placebo effect. Emergen-C is just a multivitamin with a high dose of vitamin C. And zicam is for colds.

Once you get the flu symptoms you have 48 hours to get tamiflu. After that you just have to ride it out.
