    Why dosent diagonal work? I've loaded both my YZ250F and 450F in my longbed with the tailgate closed, front wheel goes in corner of either side of front of bed and then you kick the rear wheel over to the opposite side.

    They aren't long enough either. My bike uses a lot of the tailgate. Though I always have two bikes, so I've never tried going diagonal. With that said im not sure that would help much anyway...our beds are not very long.
