IF......and I mean IF I had a complaint is that they fit too good. When I take the rear one out I have to make sure it's out a little from the backseat hinge that's under the backseat. Sometimes it'll hang up on that.

Other than that they are perfect.

Alright, one more question.. Who will install customer bought parts? I bought new lower arm ball joints and don't have the equipment to install them and I've never done it before so I'm a little hesitant to attempt it even if I do have the equipment... but several places I've called have told me they don't install parts that customers buy. Will the dealership do it at all? I just have two Moog ball joints to install

I'd love to do that. But there ain't enough people with Tacoma's that I've found online here to do that sadly.

That's a bummer. We have a pretty active community in my parts which is cool.

Go stop by some local shops or find out if friends or family recommend a shop then go in and start a conversation, bs with em to find out about them what they do and dont like to do and after you've found out if you can actually talk to them ask em how hard it would be if you did it yourself. They may walk you through it or tell ya to bring it in.

Got the Leer topper put on yesterday, set up the back today so I can finally get the rear seats cleared out.

Oh, and whoever designed Rotopax's Tacoma rail mounts needs to be punched right in the dick. It took me almost an hour to get all three mounted and all of 5 minutes to fit the Relentless Fab hi-lift brackets, and that included having to partially unbolt the topper to get the bolts past the mounting point. I'd probably be more pissed off about it if the Rotopax weren't such a fantastic design, they just need a slight change of the mounting brackets.

Me too. There are cons to it. They call it the expert because they want only the most comfortable people with recoveries using it I assume. The d-ring shackle can slide around in it making it more dangerous for the person not paying attention. I so like that I can slide a shackle in this and turn it the direction I want to use it vs only being able to put the pin in the other version.

Enough to make it a lot of fun!
I had the same problem when I mounted mine and pulled it off to relocate it.

While attempting to replace my corner lamps with LEDs...I dropped a bulb into the housing. After removing the entire headlight assembly, I was able to spin, rotate, shake, and tilt the bulb out. I put a small band of electrical tape around the bulb and socket before I reinserted them.

    Be careful out there.
