I agree that they are on a lot of vehicles but how many supercharged PROs will have them ? I am actually a big fan of wheels that have some "show and go" in them . I like the look of the XD Menace wheels but not sure how they would look on a smaller truck that not's lifted that high .

I'm not saying that they are common but they are OEM and why look like everyone expects it to look . I wouldn't have bought the truck if I didn't like the whole look of it , including wheels . I just like to throw my own personal spin on even the rare vehicles I buy . It's just the mod bug that bit me many years ago and there isn't a cure .

    TY guys

no problem....I wouldn't have even driven off the lot until I took off the step if it was chrome

When I get some time , I will get some action shots

I didn't get a hat.....now i'm officially pissed and taking the truck back to the dealer  Don't really care about a hat anyway but I picture a service runner walking around wearing it now :D

I'll be doing this as soon as I have a chance. Hopefully next weekend. Already have the paint. I'm gonna get some black bolts too or just paint the bolt heads black.

don't go with the bro wheels people are suggesting you'll regret it in future. Nice ride, thats proabably the coolest tacoma you can get from the factory.

If you want ground clearance take them off. If not then leave them on. But you bought a truck that was made for off road. You need ground clearance. Unless it's gonna be a mall crawler. And I'd leave the wheels you have! Those look great! I saw a TRD Pro today and those wheels caught my eye faster than lightning, they look awesome!

I've seen people get this on their Tacomas and just can't see any logical reason in doing it unless you just have money to blow. $6,000 for a clear wrap on your truck!?! That's an insane amount of money to put into a truck just for paint protection! It'd cost you much less to just fix things as they happen, the occasional microscopic paint chip here or there won't hurt anything. I'm not sure if they really cost six thousand but I know it's a few grand from Toyota. Seems like a scam to me lol. They're Tacomas, and although they may look better than Ferraris to us, they're still not Ferrari's so a blemish in the paint isn't going to break a sale if you're worried about resale value.

    That bastard :D

Now that looks sweet.....and way cheaper to just black out the rings :D

You just talked me into it !

    I am now :D

    TY

Why can't the vehicle be both ?

You are right....it's not a Ferrari but it is a nice looking Tacoma . Actually , a 360 or 430 is going to be my next play toy :D

I was really debating the black because my last few toys have been black.....Syclone , Typhoon , Grand National GNX , 454ss truck , turbo G35.....even my old DD that my lady drives now is black , Ford Utility Interceptor :D

    Now that I have it , i'm glad I got it :D

Honestly I would leave it alone. If I paid a premium for a specific package like that, it would not make sense to me to start replacing all of the already-expensive stuff with other stuff. If one was going to do that, one would buy a 6-lug base model and start replacing less expensive parts with aftermarket goodies.

This is only my opinion. It's your money and your truck so do whatever makes your sticker peck out.
