What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I felt the same way, I ended up going with LR UCA's $350-375 shipped on ebay

 

I agree I bought some tc ucas for $550 but they only had 50 or so miles on them.

 

I swear i hear more crap about those than even the eBay brand. How you like them?

 

I like my LR UCA's. Be sure to Torque them to spec.

 

Well I was happy with my alignment. Until I was on my way home tonight and I noticed my lower control arms had loosened because they weren't tightened to spec. Clunking and popping like a mofo, Ill be heading back to the tire shop first thing tomorrow morning.

They have been damn good for me on 2 Tacoma's. There was an early bushing issue years ago 2009/10? and for some reason everyone that doesn't have them likes to hammer them. I have more miles off road than on and on moderate trails with no issues. Pretty sure BradyT runs them on his Flying Krawler and has had no issues.

I think any comment made about a $30,000 vehicle on a forum from a computer...most likely over a wireless, high speed connection is a #firstworldproblem.

 

I just did mine today after work and I am impressed. Soooo much brighter.

 

It's like day. I sat in my truck and just looked for 20 minutes

Here are some pics of my interior LED's. Must say it was a bit of a challenge for the reason I was being extra careful trying not to break the plastic covers. I also found the stock bulbs on the map lights to be a bit difficult to take out. Either then that It was a cool and easy mod to do.

Don't forget the sunvisor bulbs!! I forgot to do mine, then all my friends made fun of me until I did.

What a difference in brightness. Forgot to get a pic, but will get one tonight. Very nice to be able to actually see what's behind me now.

 

Id like to see how those look, I have these right now and they're super bright, but the light pattern is too projected and not scattered enough.

but just ordered these to replace them because they have extra led's around the side that should fill out the light pattern more.
