Pristine Coatings does a very high quialty job, you pay for it though. $150 ish for a set of sliders. He does media blast the items before coating them though. This will provide a longer lasting finish. That should fit in his oven.

I'll keep them in mind. On second thought though, I might just rattle can the rack for now because I plan on adding more features to it. It'd be a waste to just grind off parts of the PC in a coupe weeks

Posting this a feeler for ToyTec. (more information to follow)

ToyTec will be selling their 35" (APX?) tires, and 18" wheels as a combo set. If I heard right, it should come with 2 full size spares. The tires have 5K on them, and is looking at $1,800 for the combo.

Here is a photograph of the setup from their rig.

Anyone go to the Goodyear in Golden? I'm trying to sneak in to get some new rubbers tomorrow at noon. Going with Duratrac 265/75/16 on all stock.

Yeah, it's right across the street! My roommate said screw big O because they messed up a bunch of their fleet vehicles. Goodyear guy sounded pretty good over the phone. Got the tires ordered so I can get them mounted tomorrow. Going to be a bit more than Discount Tires. But I am willing to pay for service.

I just called the guy to price match DT $185. dropped the initial online quote of $975 before installation fees to $875 out the door alignment. I'll reiterate that this guy sounds like a pretty cool dude.

And I wasn't tired at all. I think I just needed the escape from work and have some wrenching time. Plenty of that about to happen on my own truck.
