So I recently bought this Toyota and the grill had some imperfections and I didn't like the chrome, I also wanted to add a lightbar, an antenna (every used Tacoma I looked at had a broken off antenna...) de-haze the headlights, and plasti-dip the roof because of real bad sun fade so I didn't want it to get any worse.. So it was enough to pull the trigger on the project! Now for pics!!

    Thought Y'all might enjoy

Removed coal filter, Also installed AFE air filter. Roof rack with custom diamond plate air diverter.
Looks good, how much plastic dip did you need for the roof also has many coats did you give it? I am thinking of doing mine after I do my rims.
    Thanks

I tried to use one can and it wasn't enough, so I used up 2 cans.
I wanted something that wasn't permanant but still could take a car wash for cheap, I would have like a roof wrap but didn't feel like dropping the money

Looks good! Love the grill. Matt makes some good stuff. I bought a skid from him when he was still making the TRD stamped front skid.

I have no idea about the their thing but I thought the mesh came in good quality, I Beleive it powder coated too, I just fallows the video on the website and had to fab in a hole for the light bar, looks pretty damn near perfect in person as far as how flush it is.

Just kidding a nikon d600, most where taken with a 50mm prime and the long exposure with a ultra wide angle. And no "photoshop" just raw edits. Love the body though.

What's the deal with all the hostility towards the guy who made the grill? Just curious because a mesh grill is one of the next purchases I will be making. Looks good to me...

people just being dumb bc they are against others fabbing things up, homer offers mesh for days and spoke with me plenty on his technique on how to fab my own thin lip satoshi along with wishing me luck. So i did that and it turned out great, it gives homer more rep along with me having a cool grille and saved some coin and learned some shit. Also go vandals, graduated in 2013, biochem major. Lived on A st by winco! terrible football team still too!

Im sure both guys are good people. So what if he took the idea and made his own. That grill will always to me no matter who makes it a homer grill. Im considering making my own just because I cant spend that much on a grill when Id rather have a used shell. Good looking truck man.

seems like anyone who doesnt buy homer and makes his own is a thief. hope you have never fabbed some thing someone else has? OP made a grille his own, if you dont like it there no one said u had to comment just gives this placed a bad attitude especially when people are new to the form.

Badass dude! I graduated 2014 and decided to stay for grad school...love it up here. You're right, football team still sucks but the tailgate is where it's at anyways!

Thanks for the info everybody, noted.
