    Thanks, and after you test it then you can really give us hell!!

    To be honest if I was in our shoes then I would be just as skeptical. It's hard to understand what's going on inside the computer that controls your engine if you are not a tuner.

    No way a spacer to lift the maf is going to give you any better results. There is no sweet spot in there, the air will never flow that laminar in the intake, there will always be some distortions in the flow. Even if they said it increase power, where in the rpm? 5500? That's not even usable same with even 4000.

    The MAF sensor is the single most important sensor on the entire engine. If the readings from this sensor are as erratic as you are leading on from "distortions in the air flow" then your engine would not run smooth at all. Each "distortion" would cause the engine to lurch or hesitate.

    It's good that you are thinking about it though as thinking outside the box can lead to great things!
