    I've been working with him for about a month now and he is able to find sheds I place in the woods ( with a little help) but he is getting good and learning fast! Just hit 5 months as well!

    Sorry to hear about Marley. But I know our pets have a funfilled love filled life. We don't try to extend their lives for our sake. Just their's. if an operation or procedure will keep them closer to us but give them more pain and suffering we won't do it. We are thankful for their companionship while we are all together on this planet and give them the most love and care we can as thats what we ask for too.

    Thank you for the kind words, and so very true! I feel like yesterday's meeting with the vet got the shock out of my system. Today's meeting seemed like how to prepare, still heartbreaking, but easier to take after having some time to digest the news. Next hardest part is telling the kids.
