My stock ride is usually parked in the garage. If you ever stop by on Thursdays, the auto detailing guy has a nice modded silver taco on the mauka side lot.

My truck is too stock for off roading haha, mainly because the wifey wants me to keep it stock. Will be putting on duratracs eventually.

It's never too stock to go off road! I took my truck up to peacock flats when it was brand new and still had paper plates. Did you have a silver acces cab before?

 

I did have a silver '05 access cab. Sold it to my father's co-worker and he's still raving about how much he loves that truck. Would still be driving it if I didn't need the double cab!

Brooks...build thread coming along well! I was watching your door step light vid and I noticed the pulsing when it comes on. You should add a relay inline to prevent the fading... Easy fix...

 

Thanks bro! Actually I just ordered a set of Icons so I'll be selling my front struts and springs in a about a week and a half. I want the adjustability of the coilovers. Other than that it rides really well and can't complain. I just hate the fact that in order to make any changes you have to pull the whole thing apart. I would buy from Boss4x4.com. I bought a ton of stuff from them on a group buy and just ordered my icons from them too. Talk to Sarah and she'll hook it up. She gives us a TW discount on most items. Kaleo is ordering parts from her right now as well.

Thanks Rick!!! You know it looks worse in the video and you can't even real tell in person. Not sure it's worth the added work. But when I do rewire and add a blue sea then maybe I will. Most definitely would like some help when that time comes too . It's more fun when the guys are around helping.

Well when it comes time for the Blue Sea and electrical make sure you get your Kailua neighbor Mike as he's a wiring genius to get in there...

What Icon set did you get?

On another note.....do you still have the Icon box I gave you when you bought my 5100's? Yours should be coming with a new box and I wanted one in case I had to ship Icon my coilovers in the future.

 

I ordered the non resi's. But I may try and buy Blaine's front and backs if I can get them for the same price as the fronts. Depends how many miles too. I don't have the box anymore. If I get the new ones and don't need the box I'll be happy to give it to you.

 

No problem man. You'll like your new Icons. Especially if you remove your sway bar, it helps that they have a firm ride.

Ok. I was gonna say if you were looking at a pack then I'd probably go with the All-Pro being that they have the free shipping deal going on. Cause those babies are heavy! So I'd go with Boss4x4. And if you're interested I'll have front struts off in about two weeks and they'll be for sale. I may actually pick up rear icons too at this point and sell the whole set. Oh yeah baby! Can't wait to get these coated and installed. Already got rid of my fugly Westin steps I had and that was an improvement. Those steps made my truck look lower. But it was functional for the kids. These are functional and for me! And, I'm glad to have a nice set of sliders that is different from all the other BAMF guys out here. Thos are nice too, but I gotta stand out a little.
