    Great read. Thanks!

A friend of mine has one of the hard shelled RTTs. He and his GF seem to like it. The way it sets up is a bit more painful than my Tepui. I think the Tepui might be a bit bigger. idk. His packs a little lower which is a definite advantage.

Thanks, I love how light the rack is! I may powdercoat or spray paint eventually, but for now, she's naked

Good to know, guess if I do ever cover it, powder coat it will be. I love the look, though!

Ugh... You guys and the nice spurt of weather are making me want to install the tent and let it spread its wings.

I know that feel. We've had basically no snow and have had average temps around 32 pretty much all winter. I keep saying I'm going to put my tent back on and use it. One of these days...

Very cool set up. Your red sail canopy is exactly what I want to get and set up off of my bed rack. Where did you purchase yours and how do you like it?

Its actually the rain cover off a cheap Coleman tent that I found at Goodwill. I extended the lines with some thin bungee cord. The center post is an extendable shower curtain rod. Maybe $5 total. The bungee cord is necessary for the tension, and the ability to lift the trailer lid. Nothing fancy, but functional. Someday I'll upgrade to an awning with a bit more space and no center post.

Cool, it does give me an idea on what to look for. I thought about an awning but the cost of one has me thinking about alternatives....thanks for the info...
