Had a mold company do the attic space before I moved into the house we bought. Sellers paid though. But comes with a lifetime guarantee. I guess as long as that plywood is there.

I use a mixture of propylene glycol (RV aintifreeze) and borax (buy it at the pharmacy it's used for eye wash) Put the glycol in a pot and mix in as much borax as it will dissolve. Then put the mixture in a sprayer and soak the mold, let it dry, repeat, until you see white borax crystals forming on the wood. (Oh you did fix the water problem first, right?) Borax is pure death to mold and the glycol carries it deep into the wood. The nice thing about this is the mixture isn't toxic to humans.

I'm remodeling my laundry room. Here is taking out the old washer overflow drain pan.
(Oh and doing this sort of stuff is part of the reason I bought a Tacoma. I just love going to the big box store and throwing big, awkward, stuff in the bed and driving away, while the guys with cars struggle)

Youve got to be fing joking. There is less than an inch if lumber at the bottom. Why bother leaving that.

Last night got a call for a burst pipe. Removing what I can and find that joice is useless the one next to it has 4 enormous holes in it and the same with 1more. All 3 side by side. Plumbers motto must have been fuck the framing.

I've read that the bleach solution doesn't actually kill the mold, just changes it's color. I've never had mold return after I've done a bleach treatment, though, so I've not a clue as to the validity of the statement.

I think those are just spring-loaded coatracks that lower for access, pop back up for stow.

The rod in the middle taped to the back for now will hang forward as a pull when done.
