Just my power washer with a low pressure nozzle, I didn't bother with a degreaser or anything, it wasnt greasy mess, just muddy/dusty/dirty mess.

Day dreamed about driving my Tacoma for the last 6 days since my truck is in Georgia and I'm snowed in at my in laws house in Ohio.

Had the dealership do a drain/fill of the trans today. They let me watch the fluid drain and I have to say it looked pretty good. They charged me $139.00 including the washers and 4 qt. of WS ATF. I now know the fluid is the correct level and will do future d/f's myself. Tech said it was a good idea even though 2 service writers advised against it. They waived the charge for the tire rotation/inspection. The truck has 30K on it now. I bought it with 14K on it.

For those of you who have owned their trucks since knew, I would advise waiting until 45 or 60K to do this service. I'm a bit obsessive with PM and had a coupon so I said what the heck. I don't tow and only lightly off-road. I changed both diffs and xfer case with M1 and changed the plugs myself.

Looks so sweet skygear! I love the color matched off road bumper.

I did an oil change today and greased my drive shafts. Nothing special. Racking up the miles, 35k on my '13.

Enough to make it a lot of fun!
Well today was another good day for my truck. I ended up having to run down to 4wheel parts today to pick up some gears for a buddy and saw that they got some smittybuilt 10000 lb winches in. I had ordered one about a month ago, so finally got mine. :D

comes with 100' of synthetic line and wireless or wired remote. (sorry for the pic being upside down flicker decided to rotate it but when i download it, it is right side up)

While I was there I decided I needed to finally get some weather tech floor mats, because the stock ones suck.

    YThanks

    Exactly! http://factor55.com

Yes. there are plenty Other things I need or want. Something came up and my winch rope was exposed, could have been a really bad situation from the manner I had both ends secured. Car was sliding into me and it got 'hooked' on my exposed line. If I didn't stop the guy, could have been real bad news for the both of us. Line could have broke, front end of his vehicle could have been more damaged, who knows what could have happened. Decided I wasn't going to have a 'next time' and got one.

Serious question. What is the advantage to amber lights over white?

    ^^ This

Basically why mostly all snowboard goggles are tinted including amber. There is less reflective light and more direct light to distinguish changes in ground and objects in distance during snow and fog

Good looking set up. Where did you get the amber covers? I have a buddy who has a 30" bar that he wants to make amber.

Got out for a race expo to do some athlete recruiting. Snapped this shot. It shows the Off road antenna and the old tires.

Then the new rubber before the white out hit.

Just to the engine bay wall behind the headlights. It is the same place I mounted my LED switchback resistors.

This one is for the HAM folks. Brown Santa showed up yesterday. I will hopefully do an install thread for both items. I am going to do 2 roof antennas (arrive Tuesday). That should be fun with a truck with 500 miles on it.
