Did the owner intend to place this in the vehicle? Yes. Are they using it to store a controlled substance? Yes. Statute satisfied. ProForce cited sections of the California Health and Safety Code.

Possession of "Medication" (most controlled substances) is now a misdemeanor under prop 47. Would the simple possession be overridden by the false compartment statute? Who knows...an ambitious prosecutor may look to the compartment, but it's really a crap shoot that would most likely lead to a case decision that would be unfavorable in future cases of merit.

    Thanks Ryan.

Guys - I get where you're coming from, but there are other threads to discuss these issues. To be clear: do not use this for anything illegal and you will be okay. If you want to be extra safe, don't put any medication in there either. Emergency cash, GPS, iPod, whatever else, you will be good to go.

On a lighter note - one more sold! (Thanks Pete). Two left! If there is more demand, I can keep making them after these are sold out.

You are really pushing the edge here, dude. I wouldn't advertise as such. There are sniffer engines out there.

    Just sayin'.

I think it's worth saying. It just proves that someone looking didn't notice the false bottom. Nobody gives a shit if you post that.

Wonder what all KK has hidden up in her false bottom.....nah, not really. Dats a circus freak show ass!

Was thinking those who have the bar caddy thing could use one of these minus the dowels on top of the bar caddy or on top of that other homemade organizer being sold on here. Depends on how much hidin and organizin is needed. GLWS............

Did the MAKER intend to place this in a vehicle? Yes. Is the MAKER using it to store a controlled substance? Who knows?

I think you're confusing what the end user does and what the inventor intends.

I really fail to see how this any different than the "hidden" storage under the back seats of the truck.

Thanks for all the insight and discussion guys. This is a learning process for me. Made one for myself just because I park in a rough area. Keep the ideas coming.

Hey, I honestly debated putting that up, but I feel it shows the effectiveness of the product. I did mention I do NOT condone any type of illegal activity, and the user himself had totally forgotten the compartment was there and was not intentionally transporting/concealing anything in it.

    PM replied! Thanks, Joe.

Looks like I may be sold out for the time being but I will definitely be making some more in the next week or so. If you have any interest, please feel free to PM me!
