That's what I thought too.. I'm not 100% sure that it actually did change the position, but I never noticed it being so close to the tire before I changed it. There is about a half inch gap between the tire and the uca..

So are you rubbing or not!? A half inch isn't the same as touching it. A half inch is plenty of clearance. The uca is connected to the spindle at a fixed point and lifting or lowering the truck doesn't change the position of it. Changing the uca to an aftermarket one can cause rubbing simply because it is built different. If you aren't literally rubbing, then you are fine. If you are rubbing, it's only because you put a wider tire on and you're options to fix that have already been mentioned.

I feel as though you are making this way harder then it has to be

Hey everyone... I just bought this truck a few days ago and I'm trying to figure out whats been done to it before I start pouring money into it. Can anyone give me guidance on how to determine if there is a lift on my truck and if there is how much and what kind (i.e. body vs Sus). Thanks i'm new to the off road truck world... still learning

What's up man. Welcome to a never-ending journey. Haha your truck is def lifted. Looks like somewhere around 3". Snap a pic of the front suspension and we can tell you exactly what you have and if you should roll with it or change it asap. Looks like you also have Avid side steps

Spacer lift and nfab nerd bars. So far it's a good looking truck, what's your plans for it?

Yep. A spacer lift isn't the end of the world. I ran one for 2 years and offroaded my truck a lot and never had a problem. But ...... I'd change it if you can. A few hundred dollars will buy you a much better quality lift if you want to change it. Also take a pic of the rear springs

I'm not going to be doing too much off-roading. Probably just some trail riding, camping, and the occasional median. ha

I really just want to make it look aggressive. The next thing that I want is a color matched grille. I hate the chrome. Do you guys have any ideas where to get one?

Or paint your grille black. That's what I did. But my truck is black so it matched pretty well. lol

A spacer lift just isn't what you want. Whether it's a street queen or not. You just don't want one. If you do any kind of offroading, a spacer lift is gonna be the most uncomfortable lift you can have. Just a suggestion but like I said before, a few hundred dollars can get you a MUCH better lift. Ride quality, maintenance and reliability can all be greatly enhanced. How's the back lifted? Block or extra spring?

I don't know if it will rub or not. The last set of tires I ran on stock wheels did not rub, there was a half inch gap... I ordered new tires to put on, which are not in yet, and I was asking the original questions just for some info IN CASE these in fact do rub!
