    It would make the install go a lot easier, it allows the diff to drop a couple more inches for the leaf spring to sit on the perch. Plus you have the added peace of mind when offroading. I did my dakar without the extended brake line, however it would have gone a lot easier if I would have had my extended rear brake line in at the time.
