Went to check out Camp Gruber ORV park over by Greenleaf State Park since the Disney trip got canceled - was a fun place - some trails were definitely ATV trails - can recommend going there.

My wife does a good job of spending my $$$$ without your help! JK

When we met at Fudruckers I was also encouraged to do the Billy 51 lift.

I may breakdown and have to do it. It is a terrible disease this "Taco Mod" disease. Or should I call it the "Mad Taco" affliction?

I may do it Sean since I would only do a mild 2".

By the way, OkieTacoma, I plasti dipped my rims the same weekend as my fenders and will post a pic later today.

The $12 i spent on plasti dipping the rims will give me $$ to spend on a lift. Lol

I've been waiting to see what they do on the recall for the rear leafs that went into effect last November for certain 2005-2011 4x4s and Pre-Runners. There are some rear leafs that can break and puncture the gas tank. I've contacted Toyota and hoping I made the list. First inquiry says I did.

If anyone did a lift due to a broken leaf I believe they are in for some sort of refund. I'm at the wait and see junction.

See----> Manufacturer: Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing

    SUMMARY:

Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain model year 2005-2011 Toyota Tacoma Pre-Runner and 4x4 vehicles manufactured September 14, 2009, to October 11, 2010. In the affected vehicles, one of the leaf springs may fracture due to stress or corrosion. While being driven, the broken leaf could move out of position and contact surrounding components including the fuel tank, possibly puncturing the tank and causing a fuel leak. CONSEQUENCE:

If the fuel tank leaks fuel from being punctured, there is an increased risk of a fire. REMEDY:

Toyota will notify owners and dealers will install new rear leaf spring assemblies. The interim notices were sent out in late November 2014. A second notice will be mailed when parts become available. Owners may contact Toyota customer service at 1-800-331-4331. NOTES:

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.
