    Ya taking them off is a strong possibility. Would make washing and waxing a lot easier. And if I don't like it i can always put them back on. Just need some warmer weather here. It's been single digits here in pa lately.

    Originally I took mine off to paint them & took measurements to reinstall them. I used 1" wide 3M tape from Home Depot. Then just decided I liked it without them.

    It rains, sleets, or snows within a day of washing mine. Then I get pissed and don't wash it for a week and it's sunny haha.

    Seems like it happens almost every other time I hit the gas station. Few guys came over to the truck. . . "Man, that color is awesome! That is aftermarket, right? Custom?"

    "Nope, factory. So great that they stopped making it."

    "Dude, that is so awesome, its like dark green, but then gold. Wow, dude, you have the best looking truck. I have never seen that color before!"

    Its times like this that I am reminded again that it was worth the 1200 mile trip just to get this color.

    Went in looking for a black Tacoma. Saw the Spruce Mica and fell in love. Reminded me of my first truck which was a Nissan but the factory paint was called "Midnight Green". I have only seen a handful of them since I've owned mine.

    I was dead set on MGM for over a year and after owning a dark green Ram 2500 for the past five years I said no way I'll get another green or dark color for that matter.......yeah well that all changed the first time I saw spruce mica in person. I quickly became a green Tacoma owner.

    Picked up a grill from ECG Fabrication to finally get rid of the last remaining chrome (aside from badges and the polished aluminum on the beadlocks.... still haven't decided what to do with those). So far I really like the look. I think a BHLM will be next to round out the look up front.
