I have been running with bolt-on sliders (from another fab shop) for 5 years, yes they hold the weight of my dclb

Some vendors market their bolt on sliders as such even though they are basically steps.

Specifically Avid, their's don't even mount to the frame but instead to the pinch weld like steps do.

Others are frame mounted but really only designed to protect the body from the side, not lift the truck up and over obstacles like real sliders.

    Hi Satin,

Whats the difference between the Rigid SRQ and SRQ-2 for the rear bumpers?

Light, Bumpers, and lots of switches.

I believe the only difference is beam patterns. SRQ is spot and flood and diffused. And SRQ-2 is wide, hyperspot, and driving. Again. This is from memory. Check rigid industries website

Just received this response from our Rigid Rep when I asked him your question & gave him the response TimberlandTaco gave:

"You are right with the patterns minus 1 the SRQ2 also comes in a diffused and is quite a bit brighter then the standard SRQ diffused this also applies to the SRM family. The SRQ2 driving beam is one of my favorite forward facing lights out there because you get the best of both spot and flood I think it is worth every penny extra! "

Does that help? We sell these BTW!!! ;)

I have both and visually from the outside they look the same. Big diff is the amount of Lumens. Almost twice as much with the 2's

That bumper looks sweet! Which auxiliary reverse lights are those? SR-M or SR-Q maybe?

I believe they are SRQ's. I think these bumpers were the first one's Pelfeybilt made with those wider SRQ's.

:woot: Wont be long. Just payed off the other chunk of the deposit. Does fastenal really take 4 weeks or is that just a generous time frame?

I think it depends on the mood that fastenal is in. They lost my order for a little while. It was supposed to go to oklahoma but they let it sit in Maryland for a few weeks before it was found. Best of luck. Pelfreybilt will always get you taken of no matter what.

^^ Same. I chose not to use fastenal because of the length of delivery.
