I'AM still not sure if I understand how I spent almost 36,000 dollars for my 2012 dblcsb sport , nice truck , spruce mica , jbl, nav, 18 inch upgrade wheels and tires, roof rack , running boards , you know the drill . Love the truck , the size the look , the ride sometimes rough , no big deal . But the price still seems A little much . Tell me the number one reason this truck is still worth that amount of money , and I'll feel a whole lot better . Thank you

the toyota way is less for more! too late now man, you already bought it!

you coulda bought a ford like i did and felt like you got more for less, then taken off the road once (even with a little lift) and realized you got too much..

The Toyota Tacoma has the highest percentage of msrp, resale value in north America. Of all the vehicles sold in north America, the Tacoma keeps its value the best. Buy once cry once kind of deal.

Did you pay that much for a used one? Or was it new? Does that include TTL?

I bought my 2014 DCSB TRD Sport with all the goodies... everything but leather frickin' seats (which I had done) and it was $32,500 + TTL = still under $36,000.

The way I see it, since the Tacoma retains almost 70% of it's value after the 5 year mark... if you sell, you'll get back more than you would if you'd bought something else. I mean more than the difference that you seem to be moaning about.

    *shrug*

You bought it... what's done is done. You can either move on with it, or get rid of it. No sense bemoaning it... it's yours.

I don't think I overpaid , I think in general the truck can get a little on the high side . Just was wondering long term if it was worth it .
