No experience with the vortex or M223, but my dad has a 3-9x40 monarch on his A-bolt (.270), great scope IMO, it has good dusk/dawn light gathering properties, and we've never had an issue of losing zero or anything.

I love this optic. Well worth the money IMO.

The Nikon Monarch is a fantastic optic. I run a 3-9x50 on a 300wsm and have never had a problem loosing zero even with the jarring recoil of the round. But mine doesn't have adjustable turrets so longer range shots are a bit more difficult because you have to estimate your hold off.

The M223 (if I remember correctly) has the turrets on it that you can adjust for yardage and windage but they are pre-set up for a 55gr polymer tipped round going 3100fps. That greatly limits your available ammo right from the start but I think the optic is compatible with Nikon's xr turrets so you can get custom turrets for different loads which is nice but also can get expensive

Thanks for the info guys. It will be on a 6.5 AR, so the 5.56 turrets will be close but not perfect.

I've never been a huge fan of custom turrets that are round specific. Way to limiting IMO. For long range accuracy and adaptability to any round, a scope that adjusts in 1/4 moa increments is the way to go

Cool site. It takes temp and height above sea level into account

Guess I'm missing something. Because tracking shows it expected delivery Friday. Today is Monday and it won't show any scans until the end of the day. The weathers been utter shit which has slowed everything to a crawl. I'd give it an extra day (like today) and call in the morning.

Half my shipments to me were 2-3 days late this week and last. Pretty standard with storms going on everywhere.

Last tracking I had that showed that never showed up. I called and they had never shipped it. All the info went into the system when they made a shipping label. They told me someone was suppose to of called me.

BTW it wasn't from them. :D Hope your's is just delayed due to weather.
