Noticed this spot on a hill while driving near my house that had a good look out. Been meaning to stop one evening and grab some pics. This challenge pushed me to stop tonight. Been out of this for too many weeks so here is mine for the week.

So that is what the sun looks like LOL.... -16 F tonight but finally supposed to be sunny tomorrow. Warms up on Friday though and that means it is going to snow some more. Feel like I own fish for pets for this one :)

I do these exercises because I seem to learn from each one. This week I discovered I should really purchase a Circular Polarizer Filter.

Liz, have to come up to Vancouver Island. Cherry blossoms are out, and I can only recall maybe 5-10 days that were below zero in the past 3 months. Also, had one day where we got maybe 1/8" of snow.

To add insult to injury I'm thinking your talking Celsius and not Fahrenheit which puts it at 32 degrees F. The PNW is the most beautiful place I have ever lived at least IMO. The high here today was -18 C\ -1 F. I spent a couple of hours taking pictures on the river today and with wind chill it was -30 C\ 20's F Below and colder. And a couple of guys were in the open water below the Power Plant fishing in a boat! https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8658/16432258329_ea0a8afda4_b.jpg

Normal people are fishing on the ice this time of year LOL.

Today was the hottest in a while, 41 F
I got excited and actually went around on calls in a tshirt and my uniform shirt. But that was short lived, we're back to black ice now that the 4" of snow we got yesterday has melted.

We've had some record lows and a fair amount of snow, nothing like Boston but a good amount. It's averaged 1-14 F not counting the wind chills.
ALASKA WAS WARMER at one point.

    beautiful pictures fyi
