I got a new 2015 Tacoma TRD Sport (not the 4x4) and put a 3inch lift kit in front and 2inch back... Got the Trd rims of the Tacoma Pro edition 16" and will love to put 285 75 R16 Bf Goodrich KO2 on it but the problem is that just saw that the front tire does not have that much of space on the back and may not fit... Don't wanna use spacers because I work in the oilfield and I use my tacoma a lot.. HWY and Off-road.. Like 140 to 200 mills per day..

Pic of my truck before lifting kit..

Do you have the pro rims on the side? Cause the ones in the pics are 17" sport rims.
When I bought new ones I went with 17x9 -12 offset & 4.5" backspace. When I had 285's they didn't rub the ucas or spindles. If I remember right 4.5" backspacing is the minimum for 285's to fit.

Imma get the rims and tires by Friday of this coming week
And the guys that installed the lifting kit told me that it was perfect for the fit of a 285 75 16, of course all they wanna do is sell... I also contact the guys for the tires and told me that with a 3" inch front 2 back was perfect...

But don't trust them because I can feel the tire that I have in the pic that is really close and with a bigger tire may be worst I also read that the spacer are bad for the trucks and performance that y I don't really wanna use them... And because I'm always on the HWY or Ranch Rds I don't really wanna have problems at all

The lift is good to fit 285's that's what I had at first but I know the sport rims have too much backspace. 285's are nearly an inch wider that stock tires, so that about .5" on either side of center & they will hit the suspension. Now I'm not sure of the #'s for the pro rims but I know you need at least 4.5" backspace, sport rims have 5.5" I believe. Less backspace will push the tire out away from the suspension.

So in other words... You think it may work just fine with the pro rims on 285's

No I don't the backspace on the pro rims, if it's 4.5" like my aftermarket rims then video can say yes cause mine work.
Try searching backspace needed for 285's just to see what comes up.
