I think just fire roads, if we do any of the trails up there it'll probably be Sunday morning.

I just went up to manastash ridge where it turns to gravel and they have a sign up saying that Trail Closures are in effect until June 15.

Theres a gate up the road a bit i figured it was closed but i had to turn around cause i was on my lunch break.

Does anyone know what the Trail Closures consist of?

I'd love to go on the bike, but I haven't done an overnighter test run. I think I'm deficient in luggage capabilities, and I have stuff going on until late tonight so I don't have time to prep.
If the weather looks good I might sneak off to Seaquest State Park, but I'm probably going to spend all of Saturday cleaning and getting bike and truck upgrades figured out. :sadviolin:

I don't understand the question? Closures mean stop, no, and don't.

Well, I guess I'm a bit confused, their site says its open.

But right were the road turns to gravel it says its closed. :/ first time in the area so just seeing if anyone that was from around here knows if its open/closed.

It has to do with Snow and Elk Calving. The 4x4 and ATV/Mototcycle Trails are closed. Oct. 15th to June 15th. Some open earlier depending on weather, West side Naches trail stays closed to July 15th usually, based on the same.

BTW, #1388 is a single track trail, NOT a 4 wheel trail. 4 wheel trails are usually marked 696 or 4W676, etc.

    Here are some ROAD conditions:
    Naches Ranger District:

    Cle Elum Ranger District:
    http://www.fs.usda.gov/detail/okawen/alerts-notices/?cid=stelprdb5376262

    Hope this info helps!

Amazing trip as always. Little cold though, woke up and it was about 12-15 degrees  my phone said Thorp was 18 degrees and we were at about 4800-5000ft high. Oh and all the roads off Salmon La Sac are closed, "snowmobiles excepted"

    Hey Brian!

    Nice photos!!!

My family and the Yeti went south today to FS75 to FS75-30 with a couple of the NWOL guys in search of snow. We found quite a bit at Lonesome Lake, which looked to be frozen solid. Aired down to 18 and it was decent enough traction to climb some steep sections. We were the only 4x4 out there except some fool in a Ford Escape parked in 1/2 of the tire channels.

    Photo to follow...

It's a lot harder than I thought. It's a good way to scare you into always using protection haha

Hey guys, how often are there larger meets? Boss gave the permission for some truck upgrades but I like to see things in person before moving forward.
