    5100s on mid setting, allpro leaf springs
    picked them up on Saturday. Taught a CPR class and used the money from that to buy the springs. Probably going to order the brake lines too just to be safe and then get some new u-bolts. So probably not getting it installed until next weekend, my goal is before march 5th

    Yep I have had the same issue. I stick with my cheap harbor Freight straps. Change them out ocassionally and they will be fine.

    Hey Guys (and Gals), I need your advice, opinions, and possible help.

    I am not please with the 3-inch lift that I currently have on my Taco. The guys I had do it kinda sucked hardcore in obtaining my goals (which was a level truck). They decided to do an add-a-leaf on my rear end which lifted it higher than more front. SO my taco still sits nose down and I get some awesome rubbing. So I want to go to a larger lift 5-or 6 inches. I am not looking for expensive and super duty jumping your truck lift. I am looking for clearance, quality, if and when I do go off-roading I am not going to be scared of hitting something. I do more tricky slow stuff than fast "jumping" tear everything to shit.

    With said can you all chime in with your thoughts and opinions of what I should look to get and if anyone knows of some good quality places to get it done? I certainly am happy to spend a day (a few cases of beers and pizza) to lend a hand to any of you who has the tools and know how to do it themselves. I am just completely turned off by the "off-road shop" that did my 3-inch in the first place. And I dont want to to charged out my ass for labor. But if I must I must.

    Any suggestions?

    What details would you like to know. I am super novice but what I do know it was a 3-inch Bilstein Lift I was looking at. I didn't think they were going to use an add-a-leaf on the back but apparently they did. Granted it is great for towing a trailer - but I dont have one. lol
