Yeah, I would have rather done a pin stripe mod (for free) rather than a $55 fine haha

 

8f we had anymore trucks in our group the tail end of them would have gotten tickets because the forestry truck was coming down the paved road not even 10 sec after we got out

I got it on my gopro footage as well lol, but I didnt include it in my video though haha. But I did include those motorcycles flyin down the road lol

 

Well, I got phase one of the Odd Green Taco clean-up completed. I sprayed off all the mud from the body and then crawled underneath and sprayed all the mud off the undercarriage. As a bonus, I also washed the engine compartment. It's probably as clean now as it's ever been since it was less than a year old. Haha, not that it's show-worthy clean, just a heck of a lot cleaner. The hoses and such are still orange though.

I also cleaned my big honkin' strap and hung it up to dry.

Pending:

Phase 2: removing the debris from the bed and scrubbing it out with a scrub brush.

Phase 3: washing the body.

Phase 4: vacuuming the interior, wiping down the dash, cleaning the inside windows. and shampooing the seats and carpet.

Phase 5: pulling the tires, break drums/rotors, and spraying the mud out of the brakes and other suspension parts I can't really get to with the wheels on.

Dayum...I still have a lot of work to do.

 

Will keep that in mind, thanks! Going to check the obvious like breathers clogged, overfilled from when I serviced it which was 30k ago, etc.

 

So a guy I work with just asked me if I was driving down I-75 yesterday morning with my truck all muddy. Yup that was me haha

 

Getting ready to wash mine. People at work were acting like they never saw a muddy truck before. Haha

 

Just finished cleaning mine thanks to work being slow.

 

Haha, they were probably shocked that you'd get your truck muddy as purdy as it normally is.

 

Lookin good Jason, i think I'm gonna wash mine here in a couple days. I get the keys to my house on the 25th and then I can finally hand was her for once lol.

After this citrus meet.....i caught myself looking at a lifetime LED 50" LED bar. $500...hmmmmmm

I aint buyin no cheap Amazon light lol, that doesnt even say how many lumens it puts out haha. Id like to get a rigid....but damn are those expensive

it's all the same when it's sitting on the roof not being used, and my ebay light works great, "cree" led's too

 

But when it IS being used it's a world of difference. We had that object lesson Friday night at the trail 10 pit. Thorny Mike and Dirty Mike were both perched on the rim with their light bars on. Thorny Mike's just cast a gentle illumination on the opposite wall. Dirty Mike's was like a ray of sunlight that dang near turned the dirt wall into glass.

Of course, I was rockin' the muddy headlight mod and would have been happy to have dang near any kinda light bar.

 

I got a "cheap" Amazon light bar, it stayed waterproof while at citrus no problem, is nice quality/finish, uses cree LED and is 120watts.. Ask anyone inf ront of me at night it is plenty bright and only set me back $70, you may want to reconsider.
