    Damn winter...I'm actually running low on firewood for the first time in 10+ years at this house...This is insane. We can usually re-up in February but nobody "has any available" because they aren't going to shovel out piles of wood...I'm just buying 4 cords this spring and stacking it all to air for the summer...and then doing my usual chainsaw on the prowl in the tacoma for anything people don't want...

    I hear you. I nearly ran out last year, so I put up an extra cord this year, and I'm almost out of wood again anyway. At this rate I'm going to be heating with the boiler by the end of March; if the temps don't start rising on a regular basis I'll have burned through my stockpile in the next 3-4 weeks. Bah.

    Lol...Green pine. Warms you twice; once when you burn it, and once when your chimney catches fire. ;)
