tuck hit 30k this weekend so i changed the plugs with the genuine denso coppers. factory gapping specs are 0.04. Toyota uses two brands out of the factory, half NGK and Denso brands, the old NGKs pulled averaged gapped at 0.05 and the old pulled Denso's averaged at 0.045 gapped. I dunno why toyo uses two different brands but im glad i replaced all with denso since they will hold up better on the next cycle.

    Just a few minor things.
Removed my OEM skid plate and installed my front D-ring shackle mount. While I had the skid plate off I replaced the spacers with five 1/4" washers. This reduced the gap between the plate and the bumper by about 10mm. Looks much better IMO.

Weather stinks but I had new tires and wheels put on. I like these much better.

I also decided that I really don't like that bug deflector thing. The bugs need to hit my windshield where I can keep my eye on them. If this crappy weather would just go away I could clean it up a get some good pictures.

Now I need to send Mr. Satoshi some cash and put a decent grill on the beast.

Got a set of updated 2014 bedside decals for my 2010 they look great, gonna pay someone to put them on though. Those are the most expensive decals I've ever bought. Haha

A buddy of mine works at a body shop so I'm sure he will do it for next to nothing.

I got them for 10% over cost. $70 for the pair. Yeah it's steep but oh well. It looks much better than the counterfeit ebay ones.

hit a bit of a milestone today. yesterday was tire balancing and rotation. oil change. touch up a few spots where the "rust color" started to show. frame is healthy, just a little bit red i guess. was mostly the hitch receiver, little bit of black rattle can just for aesthetics. would post a pic, but we are starting to get some bad weather here and im not going out there, its also dark.

also got a new tool box and organized the work bench a little bit. relaxing sunday.

edit: im not seeing pics on my end. would appreciate it if you guys let me know they show up. thanks.

You got tires put on around here today? You got to test their ice ability out for sure! I'm dreading trying to get to work in the morning 33 miles away.
