It's coming along. Thanks for asking. In the middle of boxing up the rear frame. You can check out my build thread now that I have one. I update it every time I finish a project.

Hey Jace, Im considering 315 75 16 duratrac's. Looks like they sit at 34.6. I'll be running 4.88 gears. Do you think the 315's are over kill? Should I stick with the 285's? What do you think?

35s on our trucks make them gutless. And you better be ready to tub a solid 3" out of the firewall. And cut your fenders all up lol

Honestly unless your wheeling hard every week end or every other week I wouldn't suggest it

I hear you buddy. But I'm going to be running a long travel set up. I know Jace is very familiar with the duratrac's and how they wear. Thanks for your .02 though.

Well in that case talk to that crf250 guy with the grey access can, Paul (ponethousands) or Monte. They all are running 35s on long travel. Look forward to seeing your decision

I'm not sure Ray, if you want larger tires go with the 315,s, however being a 4th it might not be very fun to drive even with the 4.88s. But with 4.88s and 285s and a 4cl, it might have more of the "fun" aspect especially lt.

^^^^ Ok Jace. Yeah I was just looking around, when I saw the measurement's it had me thinking but I still never ran anything bigger then 265. So I don't know how my truck will run. Thanks Bud.

Did really well in the muck. I will say, they don't get the same traction on the ice as the durations did. So on the freshly plowed ice/snow they did ok. In the deep stuff though, they did awesome! Even climbed so high on a snow mound at work I got high centered on top lol. I can't wait to wheel with them.

Also learned, people don't like the amber light bar on the street:D

oh yeah got flashed by at least 3 people, and decided to turn it off. but the amber leds and 5k hid's contrast so well with each other:cool:

I always have people in front of me tilting their rear view mirror just with my headlights on. they be bright:p then when people flash me with my lows on, I burn their retinas and and give them high beam!

Good to hear, I like the look of the tread pattern on them, not surprised about the ice though, not near as much siping as the duras.

Kicking around the idea of custom mudflaps.. threw together some ideas. I like the old school symbol myself but I also like the old school 4wd mudflaps on the 80s trucks vs. Our new 4x4 flaps.... thoughts? If u hate it it's cool, I'm ready for criticism
