The way I see it, even if you don't really need BCAAs, it's not gonna hurt to drink it. And it's delicious. Makes drinking water every day a lot easier.

As far as how much you're taking, I did 2 scoops intraworkout. Can't see how it would hurt you (other than your wallet) to put 2 scoops in a gallon and a scoop during your workout.

That's about what I'm doing. 1-2 scoops in my gallon jug and 1-2 scoops intra-workout. I even compared it to Gatorade powder, Mio, and Crystal Light and it's still cheaper per serving; plus, it's actually good for you, unlike other water enhancers, which are just pure sugar/sweetener.

Ya, I have no desire at all to go to a fitness expo...the only upside would be all the free samples, but I'd just rather pay for my shit and not have to deal with the swarm of bros

weird the guy and gal in the video are clearly out of shape...probably hate on it because there lazy.

anyone can get rhabdo from over training. in my opinion in order to get rhabdo you have to have an incredible amount of mental strength to push your body to that point, myself and 99% of the population probably couldn't get rhabdo if they tried, they would quit mentally before pushing there body to that point. everyone can have there own opinion but in the end that wasn't crossfits fault she got rhabdo it was THAT trainer and THAT persons fault.

where i do believe xfit is in the wrong is with there association to the mascot "pukie" and his association with rhabdo, its almost like an un-funny joke at a serious situation.

This they throw Rhabdo around like Oprah is giving them out for free, you would have to train till the point of collapsing day after day to get it.

true that dude and there are also many more factors that contribute to rhabdo aside from over training... so...

we had a couple dudes get rhabdo during indoc... i guess we should hate on special operations training too and stick with calf raises and barbell shrugs

like its the damn common cold, dont do a drop set...might get rhabdo lol
iv over trained pretty damn bad and had blood drawn and was no where even close to having rhabdo but i could barely function, couldn't eat, sleep, too sore to move the whole 9 yards. blows my mind how easy people think its attainable

diet, sleep, hydration, muscle fiber type, exactly! its not something everyone is gona get

Most that get Rhabdo are just in shape enough to be dangerous. Completely out of shape people will just quit or run out of juice before they get there, and really in shape people usually dodge it. Those in-betweeners are the dangerous ones. Most the time it's from a repetitive workout though, so that's why you see it in CF and military training so much. Same movement over and over until that muscle group breaks down to where it says fuck it, I'm out!

My guess is those dudes that got it in indoc shouldn't of been there, or should of stopped pushing when everyone else did and played possum.
