What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Think I can get away wheeling this weekend with small radiator leak? Temps seem fine... Just need to replace the hose, but tbh I don't know where I'll find the time to fix before the weekend. It sounds silly since such a small job but I my classes are cramming three weeks of work into two weeks (before break).

 

You could've been half done installing a new one after typing that.

Got my 6k Bi-exenon 55w hids in today, got them out in and wired up just when it started getting dark, pretty bright here's a pic

It looks like a lot of scattered light. Did you put those HID bulbs into a headlight housing designed for an halogen bulb?

 

You can tell that's what he did, look at the "reflection" of the lights in the bottom half of the picture. It's easy to see the reflector bowl that is made for halogens that will blind every freaking person within 300 yards of him. But that's what is safe now days, blind the eff out of everyone so they can't see but at least you can. /rant

Started up the truck for work tonight and had no radio, lighter or aux ports.
Anyone know if these are on the same fuse?

I honestly don't know if the are but this is high beam. I had the lights from my old truck but they are the diamond ones that are on eBay so not too sure lol

 

Just had this problem last week, mine was the DOME fuse.. wasn't even blown, just cleaned it and put it back in and whalah

 

I don't even know what bolt you are talking about. There's no way i would locktite a bolt that small, and anything allen head gets swapped out with a hex head on my truck unless it physically cannot be, i cant stand dealing with those those bolts. Matter of fact i cant recall any spot on my truck that has an allen bolt that small or at all? I know of two on my truck and they are m14's holding my crawler adapter to my trans, and i curse Jim at inchworm evreytime i have to remove those!
