You have great explanations and reasons for your setup and I agree totally. It's nice to get one's perspective on what they are doing or trying to achieve and serves as an idea or concept that another person may desire. I appreciate your explanation and I concur totally. It's an awesome setup to have...:)

    Thank You!

Working on the side right now. I'll attempt the rear also, might have to mockup the HCRB on it too while I'm at it/

    Hey SkyGear!

Wow! Such an impressive build and extremely thorough in your approach and execution! Thank you so much for choosing Rigid for your lighting needs! The reasoning behind the 360 degree lighting for your build is amazing — giving the kids something in nature to look at instead of an iPad or headrest movie is perfect in our book!

Keep up the great work and shoot us your a PM with your address so we can send you out some swag for all your support!

    Cheers!

    DAYUM! RIGID stalking me ;)

Kidding. Thanks for the view. Without the lighting there wouldn't be that extra view for the kids on our long excursions. Thank you folks for making a great product with an awesome warranty. Need more companies that continue to innovate and be an active part of the communities.

Working on the rear end mockup right now too. Currently on the truck theres 5 Rigid Industries LED Bars. Hopes are to add an additional 6 in the front, 3 on both sides, and 2 more on the rear. That would put me at a total of 19 bars/pods when I finally complete the project.

Rear of my truck isn't a mockup :spy: you mean the 2 x 6" SR2's I have on there? or the 2 x 20" SR2's on the sides?

I have a special setup I am going to do for Rock Cameras. Thats going to be another awesome project brought to the community from me. Will be a Universal system too.

Oh I meant your mock up of the d2 flush mounts on the bedsides just behind your tires. That should be sick tho with the cameras ;)

Oh. LOL Yeah.. Eventually when I get a HCRB there will be a side mount for it. I think it will be so slick on there. For the Cameras, I'll be getting some IR LEDs

Your going to be mad when I tell you this. The SR2's will not mount on the sides without either drilling and mounting them on the face of the rack, or a bracket from frontrunner to hang/ mount them on the sides. Because of the way the cab roof rack mount is designed, we cannot utilize the sides for mounting options underneath the racks.

I opted to not mount anything on the sides of the cab because of that reason. Wanted to put my 20"s there originally. I am worried about protection. I know how durable they are and have seen all the Torture tests that RIGID Industries has done and trust the platform. One less thing I have to worry about when in deep forests brushing against trees. One less thing to potentially shear off and have to recover or cause more damage to the rig or other vital equipment.

The front would support the 50" bars no problem, same thing though. Wanted to make sure as I was driving around, forward or backward, there were no snag or shear points.
