Thanks to all the helpful information here and after asking a couple questions I decided there is no reason to wait for the 2016 models. Here is my 2011 Taco that I picked up. It is the TRD and has 40k miles on it. I love the truck so far and I am glad that I got it. This is my first Taco but I have driven my fathers many times in the past. Also it is my first 4wd truck and when I told a friend what I got he said, "well go big or go home. That's a great way to start!" The tires are probably the original tires from when she was new so I will need to buy new ones but I have no idea what to get yet. I had my last car for more than a decade which was a Lexus GS 300 so I am happy to have another Toyota.

    Thanks!

I used to live up near there. I found the best way to fix it is to move far away! It's funny because the dealer even said, "why would anyone want 4wd in FL?" Weather here is great compared to the winter wonderland that is New England.

Nice truck. There are tons of posts and opinions on here about tires. I've had good luck with these.

yeah 4x4 is great to have up here. Peace of mind knowing I wont have any trouble with snow. Ive already had to bring friends to work etc because their inferior vehicles were no match for the snowstorms.

    Looking mighty familiar...

I had BFG Rugged Terrains on the '05 TRD I had previously, and they were much better than the Rugged Trails. If you want the next bigger size, go 265/75-16 since you have the 16" wheels...

Ya that color is practically de ja vu. Looks sharp. I may go up a size in tires but haven't decided yet. I got a couple oil changes or so to decide.

Thanks! I actually wanted the blue but the deal on this one was perfect for my needs and I am glad because I like it now more than the blue. Location guess is correct. This was taken in Melbourne. From your name on here I'm guessing you are SWA? Former Continental? I'm a regional guy myself.

That picture was actually taken in the parking lot of the Crowne Plaza on the beach. I love that area. I just moved to Merritt Island. Fishing surfing and sun. I'm at PSA. On reserve in CLT since the upgrade. Commute out of MCO. Not too bad so far with 8 chances a day all with 2 JS. I have some work to do before I'm competitive for anyone but getting there slowly. Apps are out anyway.

What's with that TRD sticker? It kinda looks aftermarket. I've seen people stick TRD stickers on base models and SR5s. Post a picture of your interior... Just making sure you didn't get screwed.

Vin shows as a TRD model and it has the locking diff and down hill assist which if I'm not mistaken are TRD only options. Is this correct? Also it has the Bilstein shocks.

Yep, sure sounds like a TRD off road. Maybe the previous owner switch the sticker, or took it off and the dealer put on a new one? I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure Magnetic Grey always got this sticker, with the white font.
