Yeah, I was talking about Pavement Princess, Blackhorse the 1st. Rick called his own truck that and I've decided it's my mission to make it stick.

Yeah, but it was mud from coming in on Brittle Road and the south end of trail 13. The Pavement Princess didn't even make it up the rest of trail 13 to the Walmart to meet the big group. And Rick was trying to talk me out of going down Brittle Road the whole trip.

Edit: Which is probably a good thing. As rough as trail 13 was last weekend that stiff suspension probably would have rattled the teeth out of Rick's head. It was that bad.

 

I'm not familiar with OME, but I think those only have one setting & the spring provides the actual lift. He has 886 springs with trim packers so I'm guessing your looking at a 3" lift.
Lee would know better, he's running that lift.

Yea I messaged him and they are around 3"which is what I am looking for but I also wanted to do AAL & UCAs. I am going to price everything out and compare it to this kit from headstrong.

 

You may come out ahead with that kit, Simons stuff is $550 + uca's will probably put you close to that & you'd still need something for the rear.

 

Yeah, OME shocks are not adjustable. I'm not sure what 886 springs will do for you since those are 2nd Gen issues. Mine are 881s with a little .25" spacer to bring it to the full 3", but they will eventually be swapped to 883s to accommodate the extra weight when I get my bumper and such.

Around the same time, we may get rid of the Honda and get a 3rd Gen 4Runner (I'll be looking for a '98 4WD 3.4L with an Elocker rear diff) so I might just buy all new OME coilovers with the 883 springs installed for the Odd Green Taco and put my 881s on the Odd Green 4runner (Yup, Mom wants it to have the same paint as the Taco). I'll probably just put it on 31s or 32s. I'd go with Nitto Trail Graps, but think the only come on 33s for 15" wheels. Might have to go with MTRs.

Haha, this is still a year away and not definite, but I'm already planning on trail-pimping Mom's ride.

I recommend skipping the AALs and going with a set of All Pro leaf packs. It'll ride a lot better and you won't have to worry about those weak stock springs frowning eventually. I know it'll cost more but if you do it right the first time, you'll be money ahead and much happier.
