What Steves104x4 said might seem harsh, but if they're actually trying to get half of your stuff based on a 4 year long relationship, he's right.

The good news is that you're only 23. Any long term relationship that I've been in that has ended for one reason or another thus far has turned out to be beneficial. Spend some time improving yourself in what ever ways you see fit, build up your friendships, and let the good times roll. Don't hesitate to chase after some college-aged skip skaps, either. And remember, when you're this age, any time something like this happens, you'll eventually end up with someone better than the last!
