    Those LT kits move the wheels forward about 1" which makes all the difference right? :cool:

    Not as far as I know. The biggest difference is that at full lock the tire isn't near the body mount on account of the extra width. Like I said earlier in the thread, I could fit 37's on a bone stock xrunner. I'll add that I could do it on stock wheels as well, and it would take me less than a day to do the work. Ask anyone who has actually done it, it's pretty easy. (judging from you sig pic, you know what's up)

    yeah - I just recall talking to Mark (NWItaco) about this & him mentioning that being an advantage of LT...
    There's an off-road fab outfit in my area that just started doing UCA's & Coilovers for Tacos - curious to see if I can sway them into taking on a stock length replacement boxed LCA that does that... :notsure:

    You can get more than an inch on stock arms. Max out the caster adjustment cams... That said it would be easier to manufacture that caster in. I really like a lot of caster anyway, just handles better in the dirt.

    Yeah.. you gave me the same advice and I told my alignment guy to do that and he did. Also t hanks for the pix of your battery relocation... i cant do that since im still runing my full bed, I wanna find another way eventually when I decide to tub the middle and front of my wheel wells.
    I have a Q about gears as well.. what the different when guys use crush sleeves vs i think solid spacers??? Any pointers to request one or the other? Im not to informed when it comes to gears... thanks

    For sure get a solid spacer. The crush washer will change your pinion depth based on how much you torque the pinion nut, and it's hard to get right. Go through ECGS, they will take care of you.

    If you tub the kick panel a little, there is room. They won't even get into the door hinges.

    Even easier of course. It would be neat to set the motor back about 6" and be able to really stuff the axle up in there for a low slung dirt demon...

    Im working on the fenders to design a way to modify wy factory inner fender cover so I can protect it from mud, snow and dirt and I tesfited the facory flares to see how much I really cut off! I guess I can run the stock uncut flares with 37's if I wanna go in a strait line :D
