    Go to Ace Hardware and buy the appropriate square tubing u-bolt, the local one to me has them in stainless and chrome too. You could also mount them at a 45° angle as well using the original hardware.

    Anyone ever had a clunking when you press the clutch in? 9 times out of 10 it will go "clunk clunk" in between shifts. Always 2 clunks

    How old is the flywheel?

    My old 98 started to do that for a while until I replaced the flywheel after 70k miles or so.

    I was worried it was the synchros but after swapping the old worn flywheel it was fine, the clutch was done 20k miles before hand and the flywheel looked ok so it was left in.

    My brother helped and he was particularly lazy that day.:mad:

    Makes sense because it feels like the clutch has been slipping a little on take off. I'll probably just do a hd clutch and heavy flywheel this year
