    Yes haha

I already want to change everything but my sliders. Plus I want a double cab. So it makes sense to just start from scratch...
Nah, don't have the time or money to own 2 trucks, then swap, then try to sell it haha

Plus I don't want the same stuff I have anyways. Another reason I want to start over.

Yeah, didn't realize until today that they average 1-2k more than access cabs...
Nah, don't want 2 of the same Tacomas. I want variety.

I test drove a DC with, of course, the automatic. Wow does that suck shit after the 5 speed. Utterly unresponsive in comparison. This will drive me to get a 2nd gen instead if I go DC.

I personally don't have the need for two. I'd like one to enjoy and something else more economical to drive all the time.
I already have an auto, so that won't be a shock for me haha

Agree with you there. The auto is great around town. I hate it when in the dirt though. And often yearn for my 5speed

Nah. My manual is just as easy to crawl with now. Just needed gears.

Yeah, I hated it most when trying to merge on the freeway. The difference in judgement would kill me. WOT in the auto is like, hello, nobody fucking home, please call back later.

And the thought of towing on a Sierra grade? Fuck it. It was hunting like a madman when empty on Cuesta Grade whether or not I used ECT or whatever the fuck that POS is called.

On the trail the manual is great in low range, hardly need to provide any input. Just let it do it's thing in the correct gear, give it a tap here and there.

    If I were Monty, I'd put a 5-speed in a 1st gen DC. But I'm not.

If my indestructible Toyota transmission ever kicks the bucket for some weird reason, I'd most likely swap in a manual

    My dome light still worked.
I replaced a 15 amp under the dash "acc" and my cig lighter and accesory ports came back on.
However my radio still has no power and I cant find and fuses designated "radio" in the cab or under thehood
Everything is clearley marked, just nothing that says radio.
Anyone know if the radio is one of the bigger fuse things?
