So if you were to replace O2 sensors they would let you know if there is a problem through your check engine light?

 

there's a lot that can cause a check engine light. lazy O2 sensors basically either don't see enough oxygen and or too much. when they "see" too much oxygen, they tell the engine computer to add fuel. when too much fuel is added over long periods of time, that can cause a cat to fail. the easiest way to tell if an O2 sensor is lazy is to measure the resistance. I believe usually anything above 0.6 ohms is considered faulty.

 

And your assuming people know how to and have the means of which to measure resistance on an electrical component?

Yeah he did. HUGE help. Thanks again, the only hard part is getting the suspension to compress enough to get the LCA bolts back in the spindle. Other than that, it's easy as can be.

 

I’m tired of them closing school already!! i like the snow and it can stuff just keep school open. I don’t want to be making this up when it’s spring/summer. so between dad crashing his truck a little last week, helping random people out in the snow and goofing off a lot. like driving the rhino up to norris damn and doing donuts in the parking lot and fish tailing half way across it. i have had tones of fun in the snow.

 

Your dad alright? And Tech closed for a full week. We've never been closed more than 2 days in 100 years. But I had fun too, they are saying that our spring break and time we are in school will remain the same, just that the professors will have to decide what they are going to do about the lost time.

 

yeah he is. he slid down the bottom half of drive way and into a nice big holly bush drivers door is dinted in pretty good but opens and closes fine.


the problem is with my school is it’s hourly based so i HAVE TO HAVE a set number of hours in school. the class is like 1250 hours or something.(they are also very strict about how much i can miss being sick or what ever) if i miss to much i also lose the little bit of financial aid i have. they canceled our classes all 3 days last week(did not have school monday because of presidents day) and now 3 days with week.

Wait what? Why did you have to compress the suspension? If you let the suspension fully droop and then take out the coilover bolt, your arms will continue to droop. Or was this a DB problem?

 

Would I add this on top of what I already have? Also should I do the leaf pack or just add one, I saw there was an option to add one. What do you think the best pipes are? I want a low rumble not a teenagers douche truck. ha

 

He's talking about aligning the lca with the bottom of the spindle. With his big ass spacer lift the shock was technically in a longer than stock position. Basically a cheater to push it back up.

 

Yeah I know what he's talking about. It shouldn't be hard at all. Rotating the ball joint to line up right is the hardest part but by no means is that hard. Then that's why I asked if it was a DB problem.
