This is what I'm expecting when I mount Patrick's old Kings on my new truck. I don't have any weight to put on those 700# springs

After I take care of the leafs and get the spacers I need I'll be on hold for a little bit. Ill need 800 for the rear Kings and I'll also be on the hunt for wheels and tires at some point. It will be a slow process from here out.

Ok. So lemme make sure I fully understand this. Let's say Sam's coil length now is 13" and is preloaded 2 inches for the lift. If she gets 14" coils she only needs 1" of lift to get the same height? But it would be best to get a longer shock because the preload/longer coil is reducing down travel. So if she is preloading/long coil 2", she should get a 2" longer shock so she can have the shock in the middle of the body for full droop. Correct? Or am I over thinking the shock part?

Well wouldn't the longer coil cause the shock shaft to be extended further technically?

I think you guys are a little confused lol. When you put too much preload it compresses the spring too much and initial feel is harsh. If you use a longer spring you get the same ride height, up and down travel numbers do not change, but the initial bump feel is less harsh because the spring isnt compressed so hard from preload to get desired ride height

I'm not planning to go over a 265x75r16 actually. My ideal situation is a set of ATIIs wrapped on some Trail Teams wheels. Keep the weight down and I don't have to worry about a CMC or pinch welds

That tubing looks huge! I'd mount them somewhere behind the bumper so I they aren't as easily seen

I think it'd look good to have two at the corner. One on the flat part, and one right where the angled tube meets the flat top

Can't say I'd pay that much for a car stereo. Most expensive car stereo I had was my JVC KD-SHX850
