I will keep that in mind! Every once in a while I wander down to Alamo to visit a life long friend of mine for the weekend. I will try to remember and message you guys ahead of time. I will also see if I can "persuade" (force) my buddy to come along (he's one hell of a mechanic!). :D

I know when it warms up I'll be putting together a Montacello Canyon run! A very neat box canyon with many water crossings. Perfectly located so the guys in the south can attend also, it is very close to T or C.

One of my favorite areas, a few good camp spots out of the canyon also.
I'll keep an eye out for the dates

This must be coordinated with me (please). I don't want to miss another M.C. run because I'm stuck at work.

Plus, I want to see the hot dogs. In the water.

That's what got us in trouble the last time! :D

So, seriously. This is a trip that crosses private property. Depending on signups, we may have to consider limiting vehicle numbers. It is well worth a ride along if anyone is looking to call "shotgun." I may be one of them. I wouldn't mind manning the camera for one of these trips in attempt to focus on documenting them. A NM trail book might be in the works.

Hey guys! I'm in alamogordo and have a few groups that go out wheeling over here. Check us out here.
This sounds like a plan guys! I know a few of us want to go do that trip too.

If that's the case, you're gonna have to spend less time in the garage, and more time behind the wheel. :p

kind of dumb, huh? Buy a truck to go off-roading then spend more time making it more capable than actually hitting trails. One day, I'll learn.

So when (specifically) does everyone have time available for another run?

    I've got 3/9-3/13, and 3/18-3/22 off work.

    Who's game?
