    I can see the pulley woth some digging. Any way to determine that for sure? If so, do you think it is something I could replace? I don't think they're super $$$ but I just don't have the funds to poor into this beast

    Yeah.. can try that. Check any of the pulleys for play. See if Autozone or the like has an automotive stethoscope to narrow down the area.
