FOG LIGHTS ANYTIME THE SIMPLEST WAY

on the 2013 the fog light relay is in the small relay box. The one right beside it is for seat heaters (if equipped) The relay locations should be mapped out on the covers for the fuse/relay boxes. One thing you need to look at though is some 2013's and up do not have all of the relay sockets wired.

There are at least 3 other threads with various different ways of doing this. I just chose this way because it was easy for me.

This mod was so easy. I believe a fifth grader could do it........LOL
All it took was wiring the fog light relay to the ignition wire. See the RED wire.



Fog lights whenever you want them.

 

OMG what a pain in the weenis! If there is there a trick to getting them out, I couldn't find it! Luckily the one I butchered is the one that isn't used now.

 

It's a little bit of a pain at first until you figure out how to do it. look down inside the connector that doesn't have wires in it to see where the plastic tab sits. This will give you an idea of where you need to stick your precision screwdriver to release it from the terminal.

Did you just bend the blade on the relay?

 

Yeah man. I just used my fingers to bend it over 90 degrees. Not hard at all.

Haha alright Jeff gimme a couple mins to finish eating I opened a box realized it was the wrong one

 

Figured out where the relay is gave up for the night gotta find the trick to get those things out before I start hacking shit out lost my patience

 

heading out to the parking lot at work and see if I can get a photo of what my relay box looks like and maybe try and figure this out so I can do it this weekend.

after studying the photos and re-reading the first few posts, this looks to be what I have, and might work. will for sure try it today when I get home. again this is going to be attempted on a 2015
