It was -13 to -20 this morning in and around Columbus.

If the weather does as you say, I shall highly enjoy said weather.

With that said, I'm coming prepared and I don't give a fuck. :p

I got a loaner portable generator from Rachaels' dad and I'm bringing any heating accessory I might find useful.

I'm not having bad time this trip. Gonna have plenty of smoke and I just got hooked up with a fella who's got the #1 or #2 quality stuff I've smoked in my life. I'm not rushing down there. I finally have a job where I could take the time off. I have the tent, air mattress, generator, FOLDING CHAIR(S), endless blankets to choose from, including an electric blanket, extra tarp if needed, extra mattress pad. I have located 3 different places I can go take a shower when/if I want, all travel stops, but I'll take that over sleeping with the stench of my feet after 3 days. I'm bringing my gun and I look forward to getting to shoot it finally as well.

That sounds great man. I hope you don't plan on running that generator all night?

I found 3 "Travel Centers" within relative proximity to either Turkey or Neville bay. I simply googled "Travel Center" in google maps.

South, more suited to Neville Bay:
    1. Pilot Travel Center in Oak Grove, KY
    2. Papa Rock Travel Center in Clarksville TN

North, more suited towards Turkey Bay there is Loves Travel Center
    2966 US Hwy 62
    Calvert City, KY
    42029
    (I-24 exit 27)
Take 453North out of LBL to I-24West.

Pretty sure you can just pay a few bucks to Energy Lake, or Piney campgrounds to use their showers. Both have really nice bat houses.

Has anyone else NOT done anything to prep for this trip yet, or am I the only one? I'm hoping this weekend I can make up a lot of time to fix this.

So you're gonna be there Thursday afternoon but you aren't gonna pack till Thursday night? Huh!?

And y'all gotta check out these sleeping mats and pillows I got. Thermorest mondo king is the mattress and thermorest compression pillow. Kinda on the expensive side but the mattresses have a temp rating of 11.4, which is good to like -40. Pillows are similar. Me and miss Sarah should stay warm
