    You don't need two people. I did mine in like 30 min by myself. At least you guys wont have to cut yours to fit... They changed the design after I had clearance issues and contacted them about it ;)

    Always good the hear good things about what you just bought haha. I think BAMF and CBI are my two favorite tacoma fabricators.

    My vote is for the 510s as well, even tho I've broken a lens. I really like the light pattern. I'm using the SMR version fog.

    If you are designing from scratch, you should be able to use the rock guard that comes with them. I feel the only reason my lens broke is because I don't have that on mine. The design of the Elite bumper makes it impossible to use the rock guards.

    Somehow, I got mine mounted with the rock guards. Ended up taking them off though as they really cut down the light output.

    I agree with you. All depends on the housings/lens. At this point at time, there are some options It many. But still some.

    The Optimus is what I am considering, but as stated not for a true fog light for my needs. They do options to make them fogs though.

    The piaas would be the best bet for LED fogs. Cody had them in his old 1st gen. However, I never got to see them on in the dark. He said he really liked them though..about all I can say.


    I believe Bob put some of the ones in the second link in his arb bumper..or a similar one. If you'd want to ask someone about them.

    Mine were messed up from the beginning. The mounts never allowed the lights to line up properly. I think he was drunk when he welded up those mounts. It may be that later ones like yours were done with some sort of jig. Mine look like they were eye-balled.

    I guess I'd give up the better fog light mount tabs for a correctly fitting bumper. The front end of mine tilts downward from the grill. The side ear mounts are crooked.

    I'm guessing he was sleep deprived which can be similar to being drunk. Working a radiology residency while attempting to start a company is a little nutz. I wish things had turned out better.

    It is a shame for the way things turned out. In spite of all their flaws, these remain the best looking bumper for a 1st gen IMO.
