    Replaced the cabin air filter as part of the 20,000 mile service. Very easy to do. Surprised how dirty the old filter was. Now, onto the other 20,000 mile service items including the front and rear differential oil change that should have been done at 15,000. Waiting for filters and Redline gear oil to arrive from UPS.

    Go with Yellow, adds a different element to your lights AND it gives you something to cut through fog if you hit it. Of course you could do a 3000K HID kit and it will also add brightness.

    I have read a lot of post about brightness for HID lights, I contacted Retro-Solutions which is where I have bought all of my HID's for the last 8 years or so and this is what they sent me.
    (I am posting here because two of my mods of adding HIDS were posted here, if they should be elsewhere, sorry, and feel free to move), I just thought I would post here so others knew what the true lumen rating is on HID's. The kits I buy come with either a 35W or 55W Digital Ballast.

    Bulb color temp / 35W LUMEN / 55W LUMEN / COLOR DESCRIPTION
    3000K / 3600 / 4800 / Yellow
    4300K / 3200 / 4500 / Yellowish-white
    5000K / 3100 / 4300 / warm white
    6000K / 2800 / 3800 / cool white
    8000K / 2400 / 3200 / noticeable blue hue
    1000K / 2000 / 2600 / 30%blue to 70% white
